Got us a logo, we did

I’ve been thinking about a logo for some time now and decided to finally do something about it.  So off I went to BBQLogos.com and took the plunge.  And as you can see, we got us a darn good logo, even if I do say so myself.

Patrick from BBQLogos.com is pretty amazing, or at least it seems so to us non-artistic types.  The process took less than 24 hours (and a string of back and forth emails) from concept to finished product.  On top of that, it was pretty simple too; I sent off the initial email with a general idea of what I was looking for and a link to our site so that he could see more or less what we do.  A rough sketch was waiting for my review in my inbox this morning, and after about 4 or 5 changes we were ready for the colorized version.

What you see here is the first and final colorized version.  As you can see from the results, Patrick is very good at his craft and we are very pleased with the results.  Which is good, because we went out for Sushi and Sashimi tonight (special treat whenever Auntie is in town) and I likely wouldn’t have had anything else to talk about here.

Next on the agenda: a line of No Faux Que fashion to help spread the gospel of real BBQ and smite the unfaithful while educating the ignorant souls that insist BBQ can be cooked in a crockpot.  What better way to do that than with a t-shirt message?
