Harry Potter Pizza

By now you’ve probably figured out that I made pizza on the Performer again tonight, and are likely wondering why it’s being called Harry Potter pizza. More on that later…

Both pizzas were made from Trader Joe’s pizza dough, mozzarella cheese, and my standard homemade sauce (tomato paste, EVOO, minced garlic, oregano, and red wine). Pizza number 1 was topped with mushrooms and olives, with half getting treated to chopped brisket (more leftovers).


Pizza number 2 was topped with pulled pork (again, more leftovers) and crushed pineapple (we didn’t have any fresh pineapples, so a full can of crushed pineapple was drained and spread around the top).


Now back to the Harry Potter topic. We are attending a special Friends of the Library fundraiser showing of the new Harry Potter movie at midnight tonight. Needless to say, the kiddies are jazzed. But that is only part of the reason we called it that; the real reason is that just like magic, it all disappeared so quickly…
