National Pig Day Pizza

Today is National Pig Day (unofficial, not yet recognized by Congress, but I’m sure they’ll get around to it at some point since they don’t seem to be doing much of anything else) and since no one can seem to decide how to celebrate it properly I figured I’d pull out some leftover pulled pork and make a couple of pizzas.

Tonight’s crusts were once again courtesy of TJ’s, and both were of the herb variety. Pizza sauce was homemade, and I actually remembered to add all the ingredients tonight. Along with some red pepper flakes to spice it up a bit. The first pizza was pulled pork with parmesan cheese and pineapple.


While we were scarfing down that pizza, the second one, consisting of pulled pork, parmesan cheese, mushrooms, and olives, went on Bubba Ho-Keg.


We managed to get through the night without any broken stones. It was about the only thing that wasn’t broken; I spent most of the late afternoon troubleshooting broadband Internet provider issues. You’d think they could at least figure out how to make their DNS severs work properly; we won’t discuss their ineptitude when it comes to unblocking ports and actually returning customer calls…
