Cod from the iPad

No, I didn’t cook the cod on the iPad, but I figured I would practice writing posts from it before I go on an upcoming vacation sans laptop. Volcano willing…

Even though I don’t have the pictures to prove it, the fish was cooked on Bubba Ho-Keg over a bed of sliced onions, spiced with salt, pepper, and granulated garlic, then topped with fresh basil leaves and lemon slices.

The fish was a bit on the plain side, but was a nice change of pace from all the highly spiced dishes we’ve been eating lately. We paired it with brown rice and fresh jicama. Interesting combination; it occurred to me when I went to take the picture that this wasn’t the most colorful meal we’ve had.

In spite of the lack of color, it all turned out to be pretty good. Now if I can just figure out how to publish this…
