… and came home with a ham for Mother’s Day. And since my wife, the mother of my kids, and She Who Must Be Obeyed wanted ham for her special day, who am I to argue. As before, it got the mustard-molasses-brown sugar-ground clove slather and went on the WSM surrounded by sweet potatoes.

Unlike the last time I did this, there was no wind and it was a beautiful spring day (as you can see from the picture). After about 3 hours at 220°F it was time to eat.

This meal was a bit simpler than Easter; no fancy veggies and a serving of ,cabbage slaw. Trust me when I say there were actually ham slices under all that pineapple-raisin sauce…

I love ham. Molasses is a nice touch.
