Actually the food has been pretty good, only a few really bad choices so far. I think the secret is to stick to the pubs and taverns, and never eat anything in a bus, plane, or train station.

We don’t have anything planned that will get us down to Dorset, but I do appreciate the suggestion. Not to mention you stopping by to properly educate us since it should be pretty apparent by now that we are fairly clueless about this whole UK BBQ scene…

I don’t know if you’ll find any true BBQ joints in the UK, but they do make their own charcoal. If you are going to be in the area, check out Dorset Charcoal. Might be cool to get some pics of their charcoal cookers. http://www.dorsetcharcoal.co.uk/

Perhaps if you wear a plaid skirt and oddly over decorated belt, haggis is not so bad. I also do not like fire on boats, of course, I am a bad swimmer.
