Those are some great ideas! I don’t recall seeing anything in the rules about having to be IMBAS certified to enter; I’m thinking you could come up with something real creative and get certified as part of the contest. Kill two birds with one stone. As long as it isn’t a pizza stone…

I would be really tempted to do something outrageous even if it meant getting DQ’ed, if for no other reason than to have some fun with it. However, even though I don’t post there often I don’t want to get banned as there are a lot of great posts there with modification ideas and new recipe ideas.

How about a brandy rich glaze ignited flambe style and poured on top of a MOINKabob and goat cheese?

I can’t wait to see what comes out of this contest. I don’t have MOINK! certification but looking forward to the results.

Yeah, its just picture picking and done by overall poll. I mean, how can you really pick? Its for fun anyhow and I would doubt mine will look all that great but I like to participate. Sorry you had to look, I should have told you the main manufacturer site. I might do something crazy to stand out, you never know….

Good luck with that. I have to admit you sent me scrambling to a couple of different forums to figure out if I wanted in on it or not; I think I’ll pass on that one as the rules feel too much like competition rules without the benefit of the taste section. Hard to be creative with that one…
