Do I write Part 2 of the Burger Pocket Press review, or simply show off tonight’s dinner? Since my objectivity generally disappears late at night, we’ll go with the pulled pork instead of the molded plastic.
Two large pork butts spent the day on the WSM and were ready to eat in time for dinner. The recipe deviated from my normal one just a bit; we didn’t have any turbinado sugar in the house and brown sugar was used in its place. The butts also didn’t get trussed up; can’t do that if there isn’t any cooking twine in the house. Didn’t stop it from being good; no complaints were received from the family or Pigdog. Not that I expected any from him.
A smoked stuffed burger was formed in the Burger Pocket Press and hit the grill in the afternoon along with a 1/3 pound flat patty. I’ll discuss those in more detail in Part 2 of the Burger Pocket Press review.
Tomorrow, after I’ve had a chance to get some sleep…
