It’s time for another installment of Mad Science Monday, and it should come as no surprise that leftover pulled pork is involved. Tonight’s experiment involved pizza, specifically pulled pork and pineapple.
The experimental part was in mixing a much smaller amount of BBQ sauce (Big Butz Hot) into the pulled pork and dispensing with any thought of sauce being directly applied to the crust. Instead the dough (pre-made herb from Trader Joes) was liberally sprinkled with grated fresh mozzarella cheese and then topped with the pulled pork and sauce mixture and some fresh chopped pineapple.
The experiment was a success and there is a strong chance that this will end up on a future menu. In fact, this one was good enough to use the next time I do the mobile pizza thing at a friend’s house.
