Turkey Dust?

by zydecopaws on August 16, 2011

It’s pretty common knowledge that I have trouble following directions (just ask my wife). You’d think that I would at least have enough sense to use something called Chicken Dust on chicken. Not me; I fired up Bubba Ho-Keg, rubbed a turkey breast with Chicken Dust, and proceeded to happily ignore the directions that accompanied the test package that came from Big Butz BBQ.

It was joined on the grill with some trashbag potatoes, mainly because I had some potatoes to use up, but also so I could replace the picture in the recipe section with a better one. I think I’ll use this one…

Pigdog was over, so I added a salad rather than cook a vegetable he wouldn’t eat. Like the broccoli that was in the refrigerator.

As for using the Chicken Dust on the turkey, it turns out that it works for other poultry as well, without being, ahem… fowl.

I’m sure Tom will have something to say about me using his product for bad puns…
