We finally uncovered (and washed) enough of the silverware, plates, and other kitchen utensils to cook something other than take-and-bake pizza. And what better way to celebrate than with strip steaks and cheesy taters?
The steaks were more of those fell off the back of that truck that showed up one day, and were simply sprinkled with a bit of Big Dick’s BBQ rub. The cheesy taters departed from the usual recipe by using cheddar cheese slices rather than one of the shredded cheese mixes, and even though they didn’t crisp up the same were still a big hit at the dinner table.
I can’t begin to say how much better this was than take-and-bake pizza.
