Somewhere along the way game hens got renamed as “baby chickens” around here. So even though they aren’t, I threw some Big Butz BBQ Chicken Dust on some (with a little wine) and cooked them up for dinner tonight.
After a little more than a half hour on the BS Keg, they were ready to eat. Not only that, they looked nice all stacked up on a platter.
The taters were tasty as well. Tonight’s version was cubed then mixed with some EVOO, minced garlic, finely ground rosemary, and a dash of salt. Add some green beans and mushrooms cooked in foil, and dinner was served.
And not a turkey leftover in sight.
