I’d write up the recipe for this, but as usual no measuring instruments were dirtied in the making of this meal. Ingredients included chicken breasts sliced thin and marinated in a mixture of minced garlic, soy sauce, Red Boat Fish Sauce (good stuff, no matter what it sounds like), hoisin sauce, corn starch, and a fair amount of sriracha sauce to kick it up a notch. The chicken was stir-fried until almost done, then fresh green beans, green onions, water chestnuts, and some water were added to the mix. A few minutes later some corn starch dissolved in water was added, and a minute or so after that we were serving it up over some brown rice.

This meal was a real hit with the family, and was declared a do-again. No leftovers (other than some rice) are in evidence at this time, and I’m left to wonder if I’ll be able to reproduce this again with just the instructions above…
