BBQ-akisoba

Leftover BBQ beef, an afternoon visit to the grocery store, and an overall lack of ambition led to this unholy creation.

Not only did the produce department have fresh yakisoba noodles, but there were even cute little spice packets included. Add a little Yoshida’s Gourmet sauce, water, brown sugar, and corn starch, and you have a sauce that was reasonably tolerable. The kids liked the finished product, and SWMBO declared it to be “interesting”.

If nothing else, it made me look forward to Friday, when it is my turn to cook for Pinochle night. Without a Catholic in sight…
