If anyone is wondering why game hens get cooked so often, it has something to do with getting a great deal on them.  The local Safeway runs a special every couple of months where they are $.99 per pound, and the spousal unit fills up the freezer.  At some point you have no other choice than to cook them and eat them.  I can think of a lot worse things that could happen…

Vital Statistics:

  • BBQ Start time: 14:45
  • Meal time: 17:55
  • Temperature:     38°F
  • Dew Point:     23°F
  • Humidity:    76%
  • Wind:    Calm
  • Daily Precip.:    0.05in

Today we experienced typical early March weather.  We woke up to fresh snow on the ground, followed by rain, hail, and sun breaks interspersed with more hail and snow.  If you don’t like the weather around here, wait a couple of hours; it will change.  Yep, another perfect day to cook outside…
