Pork and Beans

Ok, but not what you might have expected…

I spent most of today running errands, clearing brush, and mowing the swamp. So when it came time to cook dinner, I was in no mood to cook something that took a lot of work. The pork was the last of the butt from last weekthat I chopped. The rest of the dish consisted of fresh string beans, onions, water chestnuts, minced garlic and ginger, and a sauce made with soy sauce, Sriracha, sugar, water, and corn starch. The wok did the rest of the work.

Not bad at all. If I do this again in the future, I’ll reheat the pork separately and drain it real good. The dish was a bit greasier than we care for, but in spite of that there are no leftovers.

Disclaimer: What part of the above post could the FTC possibly mistake for a biased opinion about somebody’s product? Doesn’t everyone like Sriracha? Besides, I pay full price for that stuff. Nothing to see here, move on…
