Or should I say Simply Marvelous? As in Season All, the rub that went on some thin-cut pork loin chops.
For good measure, I made some sweet tater grill fries using their Sweet and Spicy rub (and some granulated garlic). And some string beans in foil with onions, mushrooms, butter, white wine, salt and pepper.
This was a very simple and satisfying meal. I don’t normally cut the chops this thin, but Pigdog made some like this on the 4th of July and I wanted to see if I could replicate his results. Pretty easy to do when all you do is sprinkle on some rub, grill them indirect, then get them off the grill before they overcook.
And speaking of pork chops, don’t forget to enter our Top Chop Pop contest to win some grilling swag. And $100 worth of pork coupons.
Disclaimer: Although the National Pork Board gave me a prize package for posting the Top Chop Pop contest, they didn’t influence this post in the least. We like pork chops. And we like Simply Marvelous rubs. And we paid full price for everything used in this meal. And it was worth every penny we paid for it.
