Game hens, that is…

Tonight I went old-style with the game hens. Cut them in half, marinate them in a mixture of white wine, lemon pepper, salt, and thyme, then cook them indirect on the BS Keg. Add some corn and salad, and call it a meal.

We’ve been cooking game hens this way for years without complaints. Tonight was no exception, as they disappeared pretty quickly and what few leftovers there were are already reserved for lunches tomorrow.
That’s assuming I don’t get hungry and have a midnight snack later…

I need to pick me a couple of these up. I hate having them in the freezer because inevitably, one slides out and lands on my foot with the force of a falling tank.
Similar attacks have occurred in our house. I swear I can hear them yell “cannonball” as they come flying out of the freezer.
