Cajun Style Seared Ahi Tuna

img_0398Seared ahi tuna and cajun spices seem to beg to be put together. Here is a simple and quick way to do that…

  • Ahi Tuna steaks
  • Spice Islands Louisiana Cajun spice mix
  • Cayenne Pepper

Liberally sprinkle each ahi steak with equal amounts of Cajun spice mix and cayenne pepper.  Place on the grill directly over hot coals and sear for about 3 minutes.  Turn the fish over and cook for another 2-3 minutes.  Remove and eat immediately.  The fish will be sashimi-like on the inside with a nice ring of cooked fish around the outside.  Even if you don’t care for sushi you will like this…
